Orchard View is an ideal base for visitors wishing to combine sunny days on the sandy beaches of Kaiteriteri and Marahau with exploring the Abel Tasman from the tranquility of their own piece of New Zealand. Fly fishermen can fish for brown trout directly from our property, or enjoy the river from the riverside hammock!.

Abel Tasman is New Zealand's smallest National Park, but one of the most popular. The area is great for walking, fishing, swimming, sailing and sea-kayaking. The park can be accessed on foot from Marahau, a short 15 minute drive away, or by water taxi from Kaiteriteri or Marahau.

Motueka is the main town in the Abel Tasman Region, situated at the top of South Island, 45 minutes from Nelson. Renowned for the most sunshine hours in the country, it has supermarkets, bakers, chemists, banks, bars & cafés.
